Procurement Manager (Power & Energy)

Location: Onsite in Corinth, Mississippi or Peoria, Illinois. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Travel is up to 15%.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Lead indirect procurement activities and sourcing strategies across Power & Energy facilities.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, performance, issue resolution, and procurement governance.
• Lead and develop a team of four Procurement Buyers.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Quality, and Operations leaders.
• Use spend analytics and market intelligence to identify savings, risks, compliance improvements, and service enhancements.
• Drive procurement transformation, process improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Experience leading procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or purchasing in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with indirect procurement categories, supplier portfolios, strategic sourcing, and negotiations.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing procurement professionals.
• Strong supplier management, contract management, category management, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Onsite work in Corinth, Mississippi or Peoria, Illinois is required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

• Experience in Power & Energy, industrial, heavy equipment, engine, turbine, or electrical power generation operations.
• Experience with MRO, facilities, professional services, logistics, capital equipment, utilities, or business services procurement.
• Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, MfgPro, Lognet, Coupa, Oracle, or similar procurement systems.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, APICS, ISM, Lean, or Six Sigma.
