Summer 2027 Intern - Corporate Actuarial (Actuarial Science)

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado; on-site and in-person. Must reside nearby or be able to reliably commute. The internship runs for 10 weeks from June 2 to August 6, 2027.

Salary: $26.50–$30.50 per hour, based on academic level and Society of Actuaries exams passed.

What you will do

• Support actuarial model enhancements and internal reporting tools.
• Assist with data validation, assumption setting, and trend analysis.
• Contribute to valuation, forecasting, and regulatory deliverables.
• Complete individual and group projects connected to real business initiatives.
• Present internship work and results to business leaders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at a college or university.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.
• Available for the full 10-week, in-person program and able to commute to Greenwood Village, Colorado.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; CPT and OPT are not supported.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, problem-solving, accountability, and collaborative working skills.

Nice to have

• At least two years of academic progress toward a bachelor's degree and availability for full-time employment by mid-2028.
• Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another relevant math-focused major.
• One or more passed Society of Actuaries exams.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, VBA, finance, or actuarial fields.
