Director, Actuarial & Analytics (Insurance)

Annual base salary: $132,800–$219,100

What you will do

• Lead actuarial and analytics initiatives across insurance business lines, including data, tools, and process modernization.
• Perform actuarial and statistical analyses covering reserving, rate making, pricing, planning, forecasting, research, and business problem solving.
• Assess and prioritize strategic initiatives, communicate recommendations to senior leaders, and drive project execution.
• Translate business requests into analytical solutions and communicate technical analysis to non-technical audiences.
• Lead a small team, manage talent development and performance, and mentor less experienced professionals.
• Collaborate with business units, actuarial and technical teams, finance, and enterprise leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.
• At least 4 years of quantitative analysis experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Associate Actuarial Credential.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, actuarial methods, quantitative analysis, and statistical concepts.
• Management experience and strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Programming skills such as SQL or SAS, along with strong MS Office skills.
