Robotics Programming Engineer Intern (Robotics)

Location: Greencastle, Pennsylvania, United States; the role combines office duties with physical work in production and field environments.

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Operate, program, maintain, and troubleshoot welding robots and cobots, CNC machines, and lasers.
• Train operators, monitor robot operation, and correct equipment issues.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing processes and tooling related to robot programming.
• Assist with fixture design, development, and maintenance.
• Develop safe welding programs and improve robotic manufacturing operations.
• Identify and coordinate robot-related projects, including new technology and capital equipment installation.

Requirements

• Pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, robotics, mechatronics, programming, or a related field.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret symbols and assemblies, and understand failure analysis.
• Ability to work across office and production environments, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to noise and varying temperatures.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Creo.
• Hands-on experience with robotic welding.
• Previous machine shop experience.
