CNC Machinist 1 (Manufacturing)

Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States; on-site manufacturing environment

Salary: $16.70–$27.83 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Operate CNC lathe equipment to fabricate parts to dimensional specifications.
• Load parts, cycle machines, monitor tool wear, detect malfunctions, and make dimensional adjustments.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections, including microscope-based inspection, and complete quality documentation.
• Deburr and clean parts while resolving and communicating production issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain an efficient, clean, and safe manufacturing environment through repetitive and assigned tasks.

Requirements

• High school or trade school diploma.
• At least one year of CNC machine operator experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
• Ability to monitor tool wear, make offsets, work efficiently, and operate with little or no supervision.
• Manual dexterity, coordination, close-range observation, and ability to occasionally move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in the Lawrence, Massachusetts manufacturing location.
