Director of Sales & Marketing - Bvlgari Hotel Rome

Location: Bvlgari Hotel Roma, Rome, Italy

Salary: €90,000–€110,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Lead the property sales department and manage proactive and reactive sales efforts.
• Develop strategic account plans, sales goals, market strategies, and initiatives to increase occupancy, RevPAR, revenue, and market share.
• Build relationships with customers, local organizations, community partners, General Management, Area Sales, Group Sales, Revenue Management, Event Management, and Marketing Communications.
• Oversee sales processes, proposals, contracts, customer correspondence, business turnover to operations, and resolution of guest issues.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop sales associates while managing performance, talent planning, recruitment, and training.
• Manage the marketing budget and coordinate campaigns, promotions, public relations, client events, and trade show participation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area, including significant managerial and leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in lodging or hotel sales and a record of progressive career growth and exceptional performance.
• Ability to supervise teams, develop sales strategies, manage customer relationships, and drive revenue performance.
• Previous experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing in the hospitality industry is preferred.
