Infusion RN Registered Nurse - AHN Pediatric Home Infusion - Pittsburgh and Surrounding Areas (Travel) (Pediatric Home Infusion)

Location: Work at home in Pennsylvania, United States, with travel to Pittsburgh and surrounding areas for home infusion visits

What you will do

• Assess pediatric patients and implement, monitor, and evaluate infusion and skilled nursing care in the home.
• Administer infusion therapy and implement physician orders in accordance with current nursing practices.
• Communicate patient status, care plans, changes, referrals, and discharge needs with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Teach patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers about medications and their safe and appropriate use.
• Coordinate medication and supply deliveries and support reimbursement-related communication.
• Provide assigned weekend, holiday, on-call, emergency, and after-hours coverage.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license or current multistate licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
• At least one year of acute care or IV experience.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 background clearances, including FBI fingerprinting.
• Current CPR and PALS certifications.
• Current valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.

Nice to have

• Home infusion care or IV therapy experience.
