Associate Producer, Digital Video

Location: Hybrid role based at CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, generally requiring at least three days per week in the office. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Complete daily video assignments under the direction of the News and Programming manager.
• Clip and curate news moments, interviews, and television packages for CNBC.com and other platforms.
• Write accurate, compelling headlines and descriptions for digital video content.
• Shoot, edit, and produce news-focused short-form videos.
• Produce investing-focused videos for CNBC Pro and CNBC Investing Club in collaboration with reporters.
• Collaborate with digital and television reporters on timely, reporter-led video analysis.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a fast-paced digital or television newsroom.
• Strong writing skills, news judgment, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Understanding of content management systems.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Ability to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and non-business hours during busy or breaking news cycles.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of After Effects.
• Experience shooting with Sony F6/F7, Canon C100/C300, or Canon 5D cameras.
• Familiarity with Riverside, Wildmoka, or comparable tools.
• Understanding of basic economic and financial concepts and terminology.
