Director, Industry Growth Leader (Consumer Goods Manufacturing, Distribution & Retail)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base compensation: $163,341.50–$257,092.50 annually, with percentile points at $163,341.50, $208,926.38, and $257,092.50.

What you will do

• Establish and evolve hirify.global’s industry point of view across consumer goods manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and retail.
• Analyze economic, operational, workforce, supply chain, regulatory, technology, data, AI, and risk trends.
• Develop maturity models, KPI frameworks, benchmarks, process models, value-driver maps, and transformation frameworks.
• Translate industry challenges into repeatable advisory offerings, assessments, roadmaps, and operating-model solutions.
• Lead executive-level discovery and transformation discussions with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CIOs, boards, and private equity stakeholders.
• Coordinate advisory, finance, ERP and CRM, data and AI, cloud, managed services, cybersecurity, risk, and change-management capabilities around client needs.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant industry, operating, consulting, advisory, or transformation leadership experience.
• Significant experience in consumer goods, distribution, retail, or closely related industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of industry economics, operations, finance, supply chain, inventory, production, customer experience, and transformation.
• Experience advising senior executives and translating complex operating challenges into business priorities and transformation strategies.
• Experience developing reusable frameworks, methodologies, assessments, benchmarks, research, or advisory offerings.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, writing, presentation, public-speaking, and matrix leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Senior operating leadership experience in manufacturing, retail, distribution, supply chain, finance, operations, or enterprise transformation.
• Experience with mid-market, private equity-backed, acquisitive, or rapidly scaling organizations.
• Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem or another major enterprise technology ecosystem.
• Established industry relationships, speaking experience, published thought leadership, or industry association participation.
