Lead Data Migration Consultant (Investment Management)

Location: Reno, NV; San Ramon, CA; New York, NY; or Remote - USA. Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Salary: $143,000–$190,000 OTE per year, plus base salary, company stock plan, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead data conversion projects from inception through completion, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility.
• Gather requirements with implementation teams and customers for client management, portfolio accounting, and performance data.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, and troubleshooting between source data and hirify.global-generated data.
• Coordinate with project managers and functional consultants to manage dependencies across the onboarding process.
• Partner with Data Science to improve process efficiency, automation, and data accuracy.
• Provide customer and implementation-team support while contributing to broader Customer Success initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in the investment management industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments, asset management workflows, reconciliation, data flows, and end-user reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of portfolio accounting systems, performance measurement, financial transactions, and asset classes including equities, fixed income, and FX.
• Strong experience with SQL, data integration ETL tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong client-facing communication, problem-solving, project management, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Project management experience or experience leading enterprise SaaS implementations.
• Understanding of Agile principles and software development lifecycles.
• Experience coaching customers on technology stacks, tooling, and processes.
• Experience with Slack, JIRA/Confluence, Kantata, AWS, APIs, or serverless technology.
• Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
