Director, Product Finance and FP&A

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA. Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF may be available if needed.

Salary: $280,000–$385,000 annual target base salary, plus equity. Final compensation depends on location and hiring level.

What you will do

• Own unit economics models across product lines and set financial targets with cross-functional partners.
• Drive pricing, monetization strategy, and strategic custom commercial deals across Ramp’s product portfolio.
• Evaluate new product investments, business cases, and long-term growth opportunities with Product leadership.
• Own the consolidated financial model and lead company-wide headcount and non-payroll budgeting.
• Build executive-level financial reporting, analysis, and materials for Board and leadership decisions.
• Own the FP&A systems and tooling roadmap, including AI and automation for finance workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, strategic finance, FP&A, or a related finance function.
• Experience in a high-growth technology company.
• Excellent financial modeling and quantitative or data analysis skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, precision, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems and drive initiatives to completion with high autonomy.
• Proven experience using AI and automation tools such as Claude Code to improve finance workflows.
