Commissioning Engineer (AV/UC/IT)

Location: On-site work at project locations with nationwide travel required.

What you will do

• Conduct pre-deployment testing, on-site commissioning, acceptance testing, and final system verification.
• Lead installation personnel on site and ensure systems meet project specifications and integration standards.
• Test control systems, collaborate with programmers on debugging, and make minor control or GUI modifications.
• Configure and tune DSP platforms, AV-over-IP networks, digital video signal chains, and USB extensions.
• Deploy and configure Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Webex environments.
• Deliver end-user knowledge transfer and document testing results for engineering and programming teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in AV integration, service, or commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, or Extron control systems.
• Experience configuring and tuning Q-SYS, Biamp, or Shure DSP platforms.
• Understanding of AV-over-IP and network-based media transport technologies and protocols.
• Experience configuring and deploying Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex unified communications systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, critical thinking, organization, and problem-solving skills; CTS certification or the ability to obtain it quickly.
