Quality Inspector (Metal Fabrication)

Location: Blaine, MN, US; onsite weekend shift, Friday–Sunday, 6:00 am–6:30 pm

Salary: $17.20–$31.90 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive product inspections using work instructions, checklists, drawings, and defined acceptance criteria.
• Use precision and non-precision gauges, meters, tools, and measurement equipment to verify product conformance.
• Identify non-conforming products and initiate Non-Conformance Reports.
• Confirm that no active NCRs remain before completing product inspections.
• Prioritize assigned work to support operational efficiency and departmental deliverables.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in a quality process; Quality Management Systems experience is preferred.
• Experience with precision metal fabrication measurement tools and techniques is preferred.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, paint mil gauges, hardness testers, CMMs, measuring tables, optical comparators, and functional testers.
• Ability to interpret and apply Quality System and ISO procedures and documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, apply math and geometry, use Microsoft Office, and work accurately with limited supervision.
