Continuous Improvement (DBS) Leader - Medical Device, Biotech

Location: Onsite in Hauppauge, New York, United States

Annual salary: $120,000–$140,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the strategic deployment of Lean principles across the manufacturing site.
• Plan, execute, and sustain Kaizens, improvement projects, and action plans tied to plant KPIs.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and problem solving using DIVE and DMAIC methodologies.
• Coach leaders, frontline teams, and associates in DBS tools, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
• Manage strategic projects from conception through execution and sustainment.
• Work across critical plant areas to improve operational performance and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, manufacturing planning or scheduling, and Lean manufacturing concepts preferred.
• Ability to assess business metrics and operational situations from a general manager’s perspective.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, functional leaders, project managers, and cross-functional practitioners.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Hauppauge, New York.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma certification or experience.
• Mastery of DBS or other continuous improvement tools.
