What you will do

  • Expand sales of Neurovascular products and convert competitive products in line with company policy and sales direction.
  • Demonstrate proper surgical use of medical devices to physicians after completing company training.
  • Answer customer product questions and objections using established sales methodology.
  • Maintain and expand existing accounts, build new accounts, and develop strong customer relationships.
  • Execute the selling cycle professionally, ethically, and persuasively while meeting product quotas.
  • Support customers and patients across the Houston territory while working with physicians in clinical environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of relevant healthcare or business-to-business sales experience.
  • At least 5 years of medical device sales experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and advanced computer skills.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and medical device industries, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States and a license valid in the state of residence.
  • Ability to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally up to 40%, lift up to 40 pounds, and wear heavy lead protective aprons and other safety equipment.

Nice to have

  • Neurovascular sales experience.
  • Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room or radiology suite.
  • Business development, customer retention, market research, strategic sales planning, solutions selling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
