Propositions Manager (Complex Pensions)

Location: Edinburgh, Leeds or Bristol, United Kingdom; hybrid working with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site

Salary: £61,344–£74,900 per year plus benefits

What you will do

• Analyse customer, operational, regulatory and commercial data to identify risks, customer harms, emerging themes and opportunities to improve outcomes.
• Support product governance and oversight throughout the lifecycle of complex SIPP and pension propositions.
• Assess regulatory developments, industry changes and market trends, recommending and supporting appropriate business responses.
• Lead reviews of customer communications, product literature and customer outcome assessments to ensure clarity, accuracy and compliance.
• Work with internal teams, suppliers and external partners to deliver product and customer outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to proposition reviews, regulatory change programmes, business transformation and risk-control improvements.

Requirements

• Proven product management experience, ideally in pensions, financial services or another regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of Consumer Duty and its application to product governance, customer outcomes and decision making.
• Experience assessing customer outcomes, identifying potential customer harm and designing data-led improvements through appropriate controls.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including interpreting data from multiple sources and preparing recommendations for senior audiences.
• Strong influencing and collaboration skills when working with business teams, suppliers and external partners.
• Confidence producing high-quality reports, papers and recommendations.
