Focus on assessing dosing, interactions, compatibilities, IV therapies, and therapeutic appropriateness while coordinating with physicians and nurses through multiple pharmacy systems.
Location: Remote anywhere within the United States; overnight schedule with 7 days on and 7 days off, including possible weekends and holidays.
Salary: $54–$91 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do
- Complete remote medication order entry, order verification, and drug verification for multiple hospitals.
- Perform transitions-of-care medication reconciliation and document clinical interventions accurately.
- Provide drug information and therapeutic guidance to physicians, nurses, and other care providers.
- Assess medication appropriateness, dosing, renal and hepatic adjustments, interactions, and compatibilities.
- Support complex therapies and patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, pregnancy and lactation, HIV, IV therapies, TPN, cardiac and narcotic drips, IV antibiotics, and chemotherapy.
- Work across multiple pharmacy information systems, VPNs, automation systems, and office applications while meeting quality and productivity standards.
Requirements
- Active pharmacist licensure in Illinois or California is required; willingness to obtain additional licenses in Iowa, Nebraska, and Hawaii is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
- At least one year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and comfort working across multiple pharmacy information systems.
- Ability to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Home internet must use cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.
