Location: Remote within the United States; requires an active Missouri Pharmacy License and work during 7:30am–9pm ET rotating shifts

Salary: Full-time, salaried position; 40 hours per week

What you will do

• Review, clinically verify, and dispense new and refill prescriptions in a closed-door fulfillment environment.
• Perform drug utilization reviews, validate prescription data, verify labeling and quantities, and manage specialty medication handling, including cold-chain requirements.
• Provide outbound and inbound phone-based patient counseling, document interactions, and support medication adherence.
• Contact prescribers to clarify prescriptions and coordinate substitutions, DAW overrides, and formulary alternatives.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, perform real-time quality checks, and support coaching and workflow improvement.
• Maintain HIPAA, DEA, state pharmacy practice, quality, safety, and pharmacovigilance standards while collaborating with clinical, compliance, technology, shipping, and fulfillment teams.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing is required.
• Remote work requires coverage of rotating shifts between 7:30am and 9pm ET, plus rotating Saturdays from 7am to 5pm ET.
• Strong written and verbal English, high-volume prescription verification experience, attention to detail, and technical aptitude.
• Active pharmacy licensure in the home state; licensure in three additional listed states must be obtained within the first nine months of hire.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience in mail-order, specialty, retail, or closed-door fulfillment pharmacy.
• Bilingual Spanish capability for patient counseling.
• Familiarity with pharmacovigilance or adverse drug event reporting.
• Prior licensure in one or more of the listed additional states.
