Pharmacist, Oklahoma

Location: Remote; rotating shifts between 7:30am and 9pm ET Monday through Friday, plus rotating Saturdays from 7:00am to 5pm ET.

What you will do

• Review, clinically verify, and dispense new and refill prescriptions, including drug interactions, contraindications, dosing, labeling, NDCs, and quantities.
• Perform prospective drug utilization reviews and manage specialty medication requirements, including cold-chain verification.
• Provide outbound and inbound phone or digital counseling on drug use, side effects, dosing, storage, and adherence.
• Contact prescribers to clarify incomplete or inappropriate prescriptions and coordinate substitutions, DAW overrides, and formulary alternatives.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, conduct real-time quality checks, and support coaching and workflow improvements.
• Maintain compliance, quality assurance, adverse-event reporting, PHI handling, and collaboration with clinical, patient services, technology, shipping, and fulfillment teams.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Technical aptitude with pharmacy management systems, verification platforms, and workflow tools.
• Active pharmacy licensure in the home state; licensure in three additional listed states must be obtained within the first nine months of hire.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience in mail-order, specialty, retail, or closed-door fulfillment pharmacy.
• Bilingual Spanish counseling capability.
• Familiarity with pharmacovigilance or adverse drug event reporting protocols.
