What you will do

• Manage day-to-day service management operations for foster care members within the Behavioral Health Medication Monitoring team.
• Identify members who may benefit from service management, complete assessments, and develop, implement, and monitor healthcare service plans.
• Coordinate with foster care members, medical consenters, DFPS staff, behavioral health providers, and primary care providers.
• Review provider-submitted information, maintain accurate service management records, and manage caseload decisions in a timely manner.
• Promote evidence-based behavioral health practices and information sharing among providers and primary care teams.
• Monitor quality trends, support discharge planning, coordinate departmental functions, and maintain compliance with authorization policies, regulations, contracts, and HIPAA.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health.
• At least 3 years of case management and/or utilization management experience.
• Experience in psychiatric healthcare settings, child behavioral health, or care for members with special needs.
• Working knowledge of utilization review procedures and mental health community resources.
• Unrestricted license as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, PhD, PsyD, or RN.
• Previous lead, supervisory, or cross-functional team management experience, including staff hiring, training, work assignment, or performance management.
