What you will do

  • Represent IgG4-RD products to physicians and healthcare professionals while providing disease and product education.
  • Achieve sales objectives through patient-centered promotion and execution of strategic account business plans.
  • Manage accounts across academic institutions, integrated delivery networks, accountable care organizations, private practices, and community hospitals.
  • Build relationships with local, regional, and national key opinion leaders.
  • Collaborate with case management, medical affairs, patient access, market access, reimbursement, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Apply consultative, technically oriented selling while maintaining accurate documentation and corporate compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of collective account management, sales, and commercial experience; equivalent requirements apply for doctorate, master’s, or associate degrees.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, hospital, specialty pharmaceutical, or rare disease sales.
  • Experience educating healthcare professionals about complex diseases and navigating patient access and healthcare systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience with office-based injection or infusion sales involving medical-benefit products and patient access coordination.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in the New York City territory and travel approximately 20–30%, including occasional overnight and weekend travel.

Nice to have

  • Rare disease, orphan drug, ultra-orphan, or rare disease launch experience.
  • Immunology or rheumatology experience.
  • Experience in market development, deep profiling, or matrix selling environments.
  • Documented record of consistently exceptional performance.
