Vice President, Health IT Strategy & Transformation (Remote)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; core hours are Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm EST. Travel is required at an estimated 15%.

Salary: $250,000 annually.

What you will do

• Advise senior federal health IT executives and translate clinical and mission needs into enterprise modernization and delivery strategies.
• Lead transformation across operating models, governance, workforce, technology, and delivery operations for the VA account.
• Advise on digital transformation, emerging technologies, responsible AI governance, and use-case prioritization in Health IT environments.
• Own executive messaging, change communications, briefings, decision materials, and stakeholder communications for complex transformations.
• Lead delivery professionals across IT service management, business-process optimization, digital services, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and production support.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships, support Health IT opportunity development, and present strategy, performance, and value propositions to senior clients.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in strategic consulting, advisory, enterprise transformation, strategic communications, or technology-enabled delivery.
• Significant management consulting experience with complex enterprise or portfolio-level transformations and executive advisory.
• Federal Health IT experience and direct experience supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs are required.
• Strong relationships with senior federal VA stakeholders and exceptional executive-level written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain suitability/public trust clearance; work must be performed remotely within the United States.

• Direct experience with federal Health IT clinical and mission workflows.
• Experience leading large VA delivery organizations or enterprise operating-model transformations.
• Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks and governance in federal environments.
