Salesforce Solution Architect, Commerce (B2B)

Location: Remote - United States; travel up to 25% for customer engagements and internal events.

Annual salary ranges from $87,400 to $266,300 USD depending on location, role, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead business process discovery and define scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with customer objectives.
• Own or support end-to-end architecture across Salesforce Commerce, Order Management, Service Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, and related platforms.
• Define data models, integrations, system architecture, UX strategy, and technical design standards.
• Provide architectural oversight across design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live optimization.
• Advise client stakeholders and delivery teams, guide implementation approaches, and lead technical design reviews.
• Own deployment and release governance, testing strategy, risk mitigation, and rollback planning.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of Salesforce experience, including 3 years specializing in B2B Commerce across Salesforce clouds.
• Knowledge of B2B Commerce Einstein features, the Extensions framework, B2B Commerce APIs, Connect APIs, cross-cloud use cases, and Salesforce OMS.
• Understanding of SAML, SSO, OAuth, and Salesforce integrations with platforms such as NetSuite, Avalara, Stripe, DocuSign, SureTax, Chargent, or Dynamics 365.
• Experience with test-driven development, deployments, and DevOps tools such as Gearset, Prodly, or Copado.
• Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including objects, flows, Lightning components, customizations, reporting, dashboards, Apex, and OmniScript.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience creating Salesforce configuration and technical design documents.
