Cloud Solutions Architect - Google (Google Cloud)

Location: Remote within Canada; candidates must be in EST or CST time zones. Montreal or Toronto is preferred.

Salary: CAD 210,800–272,800 annual on-target earnings, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Qualify customer opportunities, requirements, and solution fit for hirify.global offerings in Google Cloud.
• Design cloud, software, and professional services solutions and lead technical workshops.
• Design and run proofs of concept in customer environments.
• Present solutions at customer, partner, sales, and corporate events.
• Hand over customer wins to Customer Success and Professional Services.
• Publish reference architectures, best practices, and significant wins while maintaining opportunity status in Salesforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus 8+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud concepts and technologies, particularly Google Cloud; Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is preferred.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales roles and running proofs of concept for software, hardware, or cloud solutions.
• Experience with Network Attached Storage, Storage Area Network concepts, and cloud workloads including SAP, HPC, virtual desktops, VMware, and self-managed databases.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, adapt to changing requirements, and travel to customer locations within the assigned geography.
• Strong English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud certifications.
• Experience with container orchestration, preferably Kubernetes.
• On-premises infrastructure and workload experience, including data migration methodologies.
• French language skills.
