Personal Banker (Banking)

Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois, United States; in-office at the Arlington Heights South branch

Salary: $45,375–$75,625 base salary annually, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Acquire and deepen branch customer relationships through proactive sales and service activities.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking and financial solutions.
• Conduct outbound calling, appointment setting, lobby engagement, and service-to-sales interactions.
• Educate customers on transaction management tools, products, and digital resources.
• Resolve customer problems, build loyalty, and grow customer share of wallet.
• Support branch operations while managing risk and following policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Typically 3+ years of related experience or relevant product knowledge.
• Typically an associate degree or equivalent experience; comparable education, certification, and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of banking products, customer needs, prospecting, selling, retail lending, and problem solving.
• Strong customer service, communication, prioritization, and technology skills.
• Subject to background checks required under Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations and applicable banking laws.
