Sales and Service Banker (Fintech)

Location: Linden, New Jersey, United States; onsite branch role

Annual base pay: $34,500–$53,000 USD

What you will do

• Understand customers’ financial needs and provide tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions.
• Build and deepen customer relationships through branch activities, account support, portfolio management, and referrals.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other teller transactions while maintaining accurate cash drawer balances.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to branch sales targets and performance.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options while resolving concerns promptly.
• Follow regulatory, risk-management, fraud-prevention, audit, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 12 months of product or service sales experience, or at least 6 months of relevant retail banking, financial services, consultative sales, or qualifying hirify.global experience.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• At least 6 months of cash-handling experience.
• Strong relationship-building, customer service, communication, consultative selling, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work full time in the United States without employer sponsorship. Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings, is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through experience, training, military service, or education.
