Maintenance Planner

Location: Onsite in Baltimore, Maryland, United States

Salary: $32.60 per hour plus a 10% bonus target

What you will do

• Develop plans and schedules for capital and major maintenance projects and track work progress.
• Facilitate planning meetings, establish work priorities, sequence activities, and coordinate deadlines.
• Visit customer sites to monitor maintenance project progress and inspect job sites.
• Develop outage scopes with the Maintenance Manager using work orders, maintenance concerns, and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Use CMMS tools to update schedules, work order statuses, equipment identifications, and maintenance records.
• Prepare backlog, KPI, work order aging, and progress reports and present findings to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of planning, scheduling, or coordination experience in an industrial or power plant setting.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to pass a company-provided pre-employment physical examination and drug screening.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and environments with temperature extremes, high noise, steam lines, rotating equipment, and dust.
• Ability to perform physical work including climbing, bending, walking on uneven surfaces, working at elevated locations, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of mechanical and piping systems.
• Advanced experience with Maximo and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Experience with Maximo implementation, CAD 2000, SQL, and Oracle databases in industrial applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
