PLM Engineer (Windchill / Teamcenter)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Own the technical operation of enterprise PLM platforms based on PTC Windchill and/or Siemens Teamcenter.
• Install, configure, upgrade, migrate, and tune PLM environments for performance and reliability.
• Operate highly available and disaster-recovery PLM environments.
• Manage PLM integrations, brokers, middleware, and large-scale CAD integration patterns.
• Partner with functional, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver a secure and reliable PLM ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10 or more years of PLM platform administration experience.
• Production experience with PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter, preferably both.
• Strong experience with PLM upgrades and migrations, Oracle and SQL Server administration, and Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience operating high-availability and disaster-recovery PLM environments, plus familiarity with integration brokers and middleware.
• Scripting experience with shell, Python, or Ansible, along with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience operating PLM platforms on AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience for PLM environments.
• PTC or Siemens PLM certifications.
• Experience with CAD integration patterns at scale.
