Phlebotomist

Location: Onsite at hirify.global locations in Greenwich or Stamford, Connecticut; Fair Lawn, Wayne, or Little Silver, New Jersey; Monroe or Castleton on Hudson, New York; or Newtown or Wrightstown, Pennsylvania, United States. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays. Travel to additional sites may be required.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when necessary.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional patient service centers or client offices when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least three months of phlebotomy experience.
• Certification or training used in place of experience must come from an accredited agency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven record of exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision; reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test and work overtime when needed.

Nice to have

• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
