Mobile Phlebotomist (Healthcare)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Event-based work at local company sites; morning availability Monday–Friday is required.

Salary: $28.00–$35.00 per hour for individuals living in Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Perform and record biometric testing, including height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI.
• Collect blood samples through fingersticks and venipuncture in fast-paced screening environments.
• Prepare specimens for storage or additional processing and maintain laboratory transaction records.
• Set up and break down portable blood-draw and biometric screening stations.
• Transport supplies to and from health screening events, including loads of up to 20 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current national phlebotomy certification, an accredited phlebotomy program certificate or diploma with completed hands-on externship, or the specified recent blood-draw experience.
• State-specific phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in Nevada, California, Washington, or Louisiana.
• Previous health screening or phlebotomy experience is preferred; one year is preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, attention-to-detail, computer, and independent-working skills.
• Reliable transportation, morning availability Monday–Friday, ability to pass a full background check, and availability for PRN event-driven work are required.
