Clinical Lab Assistant - Phlebotomist Travel - Full Time

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States; in-person travel to nursing homes is required

What you will do

• Collect, receive, sort, and transport specimens to the appropriate laboratory departments.
• Draw blood using proper phlebotomy techniques and ensure accurate patient identification.
• Register patients and enter patient information and laboratory orders into information systems.
• Centrifuge, label, store, retrieve, aliquot, measure, and assess the integrity of specimens.
• Build worklists, document quality exceptions, and follow laboratory protocols.
• Perform phlebotomy for outpatients, inpatients, emergency-department patients, and nursing-home residents across all age groups.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy experience is required.
• One to three years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance required throughout the appointment.
• A motor vehicle background report will be conducted.
