Engineer II, CPD (Faucet Product Development)

Location: Onsite in hirify.global, Wisconsin, United States, four days per week. International and domestic travel may be required, approximately 15%.

Salary: $83,550–$127,550 per year, plus eligibility for performance bonus or variable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Assess product redesign feasibility and manage cost-reduction activities for faucet products.
• Apply engineering analysis to improve production efficiency, product value, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.
• Investigate product returns and failures, determine root causes, and lead troubleshooting with customer service and quality groups.
• Develop, validate, test, and document short-term and long-term technical solutions.
• Create product specifications, technical drawings, and documentation covering manufacturing requirements, regulatory standards, and marketing needs.
• Manage multiple projects, action plans, timelines, cost models, savings tracking, and cross-functional collaboration without direct authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program; mechanical or electrical engineering focus preferred.
• At least 2 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of CAD modeling; Creo and Windchill experience preferred.
• Hands-on fabrication and prototyping skills.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, form/fit/function evaluations, FEA, Design for Six Sigma, testing, and engineering analysis.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Previous successful leadership of an engineering or cross-functional team.
• Experience with SAP and product data management.
