Product Development Engineer II (HVAC)

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Provide HVAC engineering insights and improvement solutions for new product development.
• Screen and analyze HVAC product performance and recommend next steps.
• Statistically evaluate product and field-testing data.
• Review current designs to identify faults, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with HVAC R&D and factory laboratories on US usage-based engineering and design statistics.
• Support laboratory data-acquisition models and prepare service, installation, and engineering manuals for US commercialization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of professional experience.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD software, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal problem-solving, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel skills, including macro programming.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.

Nice to have

• HVAC experience.
• CSA, UL, or DOE agency certification experience.
