Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Perry, Oklahoma, United States. Office-based most of the time with regular shop and outdoor work, occasional overnight travel, and work in construction-site conditions.

Salary: $68,200–$110,000 annually, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Research and design mechanical components and systems for hirify.global products.
• Analyze product specifications and performance requirements to balance functionality, cost, manufacturability, and ease of production.
• Create and modify CAD models, drafts, schematics, purchased-part documentation, and technical publications.
• Direct and participate in prototype construction and testing to evaluate product design and functionality.
• Gather and evaluate input from suppliers, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Resolve complex design issues while managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a closely related engineering field.
• Experience requirements vary by level: 0–2 years for Engineer I, 2–4 years for Engineer II, or 5+ years for Engineer III in product design or related engineering.
• Experience with CAD software and solid modeling.
• Interest in mobile equipment design and operation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to work in office, shop, outdoor, and construction-site environments, including exposure to moving machinery, utilities, hazardous materials, and changing weather conditions.
