Program Director (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, New York, United States

Salary: $170,000–$220,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead one or more complex commercial aircraft programs from concept through product delivery.
• Own program scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and technical performance.
• Define lifecycle plans, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, testing, quality, finance, legal, and sustainment functions.
• Manage customer relationships, contracts, statements of work, commercial changes, and customer satisfaction.
• Build and develop program teams and provide executive-level reporting and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum seven years of program management experience.
• Minimum three years of people leadership experience and ten years of total professional experience.
• Experience with program planning, scheduling software, budgeting, and earned value management.
• Strong engineering understanding, risk management, contract negotiation, stakeholder management, and supply chain coordination skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo, New York, and access U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with aerospace standards such as AS9100.
