Program Director

TL;DR

Program Director (Aerospace): Lead and oversee complex aircraft equipment & systems programs from concept through product delivery with an accent on schedule, cost, technical performance, and contractual compliance. Focus on cross-functional execution, risk/configuration management, and executive-level customer and financial governance to achieve on-time, on-quality delivery.

Salary

Salary: $170,000.00–$220,000.00 annually

What you will do

• Own overall program success across schedule, scope, cost, quality, risk, and technical performance for one or more major programs.
• Define program lifecycle plans, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and performance metrics; drive on-time, on-quality delivery.
• Identify, prioritize, and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks; enforce configuration control and change management.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, testing, quality, and sustainment teams.
• Manage customer relationships and program strategy, including negotiation of contracts and SOWs and commercial change management.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100), regulatory requirements, and export controls (ITAR/EAR), and maintain safety policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of program management work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience.
• Minimum 10 years of professional work experience (including program/people management experience).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.
