Annual salary: $117,000–$234,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Build and own quality assurance tools for web and native mobile customer journey automation.
• Develop reusable AI-native React components with modular CSS, Redux, React Query, REST, and gRPC.
• Use Next.js, Playwright, Appium, and CI/CD pipelines to provide reliable quality signals for pull requests and releases.
• Measure and resolve performance bottlenecks using Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and custom tooling.
• Own web vitals and A/B test instrumentation, refactor existing code, and improve code quality and documentation.
• Collaborate with product, design, UX, and engineering teams while reviewing code and supporting the Node-based developer platform.

Requirements

• Must work from the Sunnyvale, California, United States location.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3 years of software engineering experience, or 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with software engineering, object-oriented programming, debugging, code review, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience building AI-native applications, including RAG and vector databases at scale.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, maintainable solutions and translate business problems into measurable technical requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
