Senior Software Engineer - Corporate GenAI

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days in the office. Travel is required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $116,800–$180,600 per year, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate production-grade AI agents and orchestration workflows.
• Own the full agent lifecycle, including discovery, routing, execution, streaming responses, compliance, deployment, and CI/CD.
• Build AI-powered workflows for enterprise service support and business-process automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create technical designs and software solutions.
• Develop robust, scalable products and contribute to product quality and new business flows.
• Participate in agile squads and support continuous learning and mentorship.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience; master's graduates need 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with prompt-engineering concepts and language-model APIs such as Anthropic SDK or OpenAI Responses API.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Front-end knowledge covering component-based design, reusable UI patterns, state management, schema definitions, data flow, and performance optimization.
• Back-end experience or exposure with a server-side language such as Python, Java, C#, or Node/TypeScript, including APIs, authentication, validation, error handling, logging, and external-service integration.
• Introductory experience with relational, NoSQL, or in-memory databases and awareness of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Nice to have

• Modern front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, preferably React.
• Experience building, consuming, testing, or documenting REST APIs.
• Experience with LLM-assisted development, AI-generated code evaluation, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
• Education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent background.
