Technical Lead (Audiovisual)

Location: In-person work in hotel and convention center environments, event venues, and warehouses; work may take place at multiple hotel locations.

Hourly pay: $18.26–$22.37

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and break down intermediate audiovisual systems for small- to large-scale events.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and resolve technical problems quickly.
• Meet with guests and clients on site, monitor events, and ensure equipment operates properly throughout the day.
• Coordinate with staff and outside vendors on equipment needs and finalize client invoices.
• Mentor and coach technicians on customer service standards.
• Complete equipment records, system entries, paperwork, and required procedures accurately.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of audiovisual experience required.
• 2–3 or more years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet the stated physical requirements, including standing, walking, climbing, and handling audiovisual equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required for positions involving company vehicles; additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Required training and certifications must be completed within 60 days of starting for external applicants.

• Associate’s degree.
• Customer service or hospitality experience.
