Senior Manager Audio Engineering Team (Audio Hardware/Software)

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America

Salary: $147,050–$230,850 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for United States candidates.

What you will do

• Lead an audio engineering team in defining vision, strategy, priorities, and innovative solutions for PCs, docks, and display products.
• Design audio engineering solutions and develop three-year strategies for audio hardware and software components.
• Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, budgets, resources, and costs across multiple projects and programs.
• Coordinate with program management, marketing, supply chain, technical leaders, executives, outsourced partners, and suppliers.
• Resolve cross-business-unit disagreements, communicate program status, escalate issues, and guide strategic decisions.
• Lead recruitment, performance management, coaching, career development, process improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and demonstrated competence.
• Typically 10+ years of job-related experience or 8–10 years of management experience.
• Experience with electrical design, engineering tools, software packages, electronic hardware architecture, or a related field.
• Knowledge of C++, Python, MATLAB, hardware design and architecture, electronics, FPGA, PCB, schematic capture, simulations, and systems design.
• Strong team management, strategic thinking, prioritization, customer centricity, and resilience skills.
• Travel requirement: 25%.
