Industrial Engineer I (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Salary: $65,500–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using methods engineering, time and motion studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead industrial engineering projects from evaluation through implementation, including cost analysis, ROI assessment, and performance tracking.
• Design plant layouts for cleanrooms, production bays, material staging, and material handling systems.
• Support new product introduction by defining manufacturing line design, material flow, tooling, and production setup.
• Develop capacity models and use simulations and data analysis to improve workforce, equipment, space, and material planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to improve safety, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing environments; cleanroom experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or equivalent process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with plant layout or simulation tools such as AutoCAD, FlexSim, or Arena.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• New college graduate eligibility; a GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with product lifecycle systems.
• Cleanroom experience.
