Supply Chain Engineer (Automation)

What you will do

• Lead complex continuous improvement programs, engineered standards initiatives, and automation feasibility analyses.
• Build automation discovery and business cases, including process selection, KPI baselines, throughput models, ROI, capacity, and risk mitigation.
• Develop cross-site methods, SOPs, audits, governance, and sustainment programs.
• Design WES orchestration logic integrated with WMS, WCS, and LMS, including task interleaving, release rules, and exception handling.
• Run AMR, goods-to-person, and robotic case-picking pilots with safety zoning, change management, and phased rollout plans.
• Build predictive dashboards, capacity plans, and labor models while coaching engineers and presenting results to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in 3PL or warehouse environments.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience delivering engineered standards and continuous improvement or automation results.
• Expertise in PMTS and time studies, advanced statistical analysis, ROI and financial modeling, and program management.
• Understanding of WMS/WES/WCS integration and proficiency with AutoCAD, SQL, Python, and business intelligence tools.

Nice to have

• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt or formal project management certification such as PMI or PMP.
• Hands-on experience with AMR standards and interoperability, vendor selection, and contracting.
• Experience with digital twins, simulation, and scenario testing.
