Supply Chain Intern Summer 2027 (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; full-time, on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027

What you will do

• Support sourcing and procurement of parts for space systems and launch products.
• Help manage supplier relationships and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Support the delivery of critical hardware.
• Work with mentors and cross-functional teams to solve real engineering and industry challenges.
• Lead development projects with increasing independence and provide progress updates through regular mentor and supervisor meetings.
• Participate in technical talks and professional networking events.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
• Have at least one semester of education remaining after the internship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• At least 3 months of corporate-function experience in supply chain.
• Available to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027.
• For work in U.S. offices, must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, lawfully admitted refugee or asylee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.5 or above and at least 6 months of corporate-function experience in supply chain.
• Knowledge of 5S principles and warehouse operations.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Excel, Python, Six Sigma, or Infor LN.
