Supply Chain Engineer

Location: Bellevue, Washington, USA; Seattle area

Salary: USD 70,000–100,000 yearly, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Develop a detailed understanding of customer supply chains and model current-state processes.
• Analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data to create baselines, alternate scenarios, and pragmatic solutions.
• Design and evaluate network, transportation, inventory, and resource optimization initiatives using modeling and simulation software.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical requirements and align analytical approaches with business objectives.
• Collaborate with consultants, clients, suppliers, and internal organizations.
• Create high-quality presentations and visualizations that communicate recommendations and project outcomes.

Requirements

• English fluency and strong verbal, written, presentation, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor of Science or higher in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics/Sciences, or a related field; relevant experience may also apply.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint, plus proficiency with Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of the mathematics, constraints, business processes, modeling, optimization, and simulation.
• Experience organizing large datasets, converting data into insights, and translating business requirements into technical requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects and maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAS Viya, CAS programming, or SAS 9.4.
• Knowledge of EDI data flows, internal data structures, supply chain performance levers, and global logistics.
• Python programming experience.
• Supply chain certifications such as MITx, ASCM, or SC Pro.
