Sales Engineer - TOLA (Enterprise) (Cloud Data Security)

Location: Remote within the United States; preference for Dallas or Austin. Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Compensation: $225,000–$275,000 total compensation, potentially including sales incentives, equity, or benefits.

What you will do

• Drive revenue through large, complex enterprise sales opportunities.
• Identify customer business issues and architect information availability solutions using Cyera products and services.
• Deliver and manage proof-of-value engagements and use-case demonstrations at customer sites.
• Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders and technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources and support a repeatable sales process.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for partners and represent Cyera at marketing events.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure roles, permissions, and APIs.
• Fundamental experience with networking and databases, plus knowledge of data storage, encryption, key management, cloud IAM, and network design.
• Basic understanding of ML/AI, data regulatory frameworks, privacy, and data retention programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and creative solution skills.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and opportunity tracking; willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Nice to have

• AWS or Azure cloud certifications, including cloud practitioner, solutions architect, cloud security, administrator, or security engineer certifications.
• CCSP certification.
