Relationship Manager Business Banking Sr (Fintech)

Location: In office at 425 Broadhollow Rd, Melville, New York, United States

Starting base salary: $92,114–$156,880 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Develop and manage profitable relationships with business banking prospects and clients.
• Assess client financial requirements and recommend banking, financing, and lending solutions.
• Prepare relationship plans, calling schedules, referrals, and business development strategies.
• Negotiate, document, close, and approve transactions within delegated authority and bank policy.
• Monitor portfolio profitability, credit quality, operational risks, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with branches, product specialists, internal departments, and community organizations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of banking experience.
• Minimum 8 years of commercial lending experience within the relevant segment.
• Minimum 5 years of credit experience.
• Working knowledge of bank operations, policies, procedures, products, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work in the designated City National office in Melville, New York.

Nice to have

• Good standing under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act and current NMLS registration or eligibility for registration.
