Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Cookeville, Tennessee, USA; onsite role

Salary: USD 130,000–140,000 yearly

Manufacturing operations producing electric heat strips and heating elements for the HVAC and appliance industries, operating within Flex-Tek Group and Smiths Group.

What you will do

• Develop financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Provide financial analysis for cost management, revenue forecasting, scenario planning, investments, and capital expenditures.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting organization across multiple sites and countries.
• Oversee monthly financial close, financial statements, forecasts, and segment-based reporting.
• Maintain internal controls, financial compliance, and the currency hedging program.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer and supplier setup, commission payments, collections, and payment processes.

Requirements

• Expertise in financial and managerial accounting, financial controls, financial regulations, accounting principles, and GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience as a Controller or in a senior finance role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with project and change management, stakeholder management, process improvement, and automation.
• Strong leadership, team-building, organizational, communication, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Cookeville, Tennessee, USA.

Nice to have

• MBA and/or CPA.
• Experience with SyteLine ERP.
• Additional experience in a manufacturing environment.
