- Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budgeting, cash and credit management, and accounting.
- Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and preparation of financial information.
- Prepare or direct the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, forecasts, budgets, and regulatory reports.
- Evaluate funding and investment needs and recommend appropriate actions.
- Monitor financial ratios and key performance indicators, and evaluate accounting and financial staff performance.
- Advise management and communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and other stakeholders, including supporting board presentations.

- Bachelor's degree required; an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be accepted.
- At least 7 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred; public accounting experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of accounting software and systems, with QuickBooks experience highly preferred.
- Understanding of GAAP, FASB/SFAS, or another comprehensive basis of accounting.
- Strong organization, communication, interpersonal, self-motivation, and client relationship management skills.
