Executive Director, Corporate Communications (Biopharma)

Location: Remote/Home-Based for US-based candidates only; Philadelphia, PA

Base salary: $256,000–$384,000 per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and drive an integrated global corporate communications strategy aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Advise the C-suite and senior executives on messaging, issues management, reputation, and executive visibility.
• Lead employee communications, change-management communications, town halls, leadership meetings, and external engagements.
• Own the corporate brand, narrative, voice, employer brand, and messaging alignment across internal and external channels.
• Manage media relations, digital communications, public narratives, and the translation of complex scientific milestones for diverse audiences.
• Recruit and lead the communications team, manage external agencies, and measure communications impact and ROI.

Requirements

• Must be a US-based candidate for the remote/home-based role.
• 15+ years of progressive communications experience, including significant leadership experience in biopharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.
• Experience building integrated programs spanning employee communications, corporate brand, and digital strategy.
• Experience advising C-suite executives and leading communications through M&A, crisis, organizational change, and business transformation in a public company.
• Exceptional executive presence and written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, or a related field; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
