Director of Corporate Communications (Cybersecurity)

Location: US remote

Salary: $180,000–$270,000 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global is a cybersecurity company building an AI-powered autonomous penetration tester to scale offensive security.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a corporate communications strategy across media, analyst, executive, and internal channels.
• Build relationships with technology, cybersecurity, and business journalists to secure high-quality coverage.
• Lead analyst relations, briefings, and inquiries to position hirify.global as a category leader in autonomous offensive security.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on bylines, speaking submissions, and public narratives.
• Plan and manage crisis communications with clarity, credibility, and speed.
• Align communications with product launches, funding milestones, and other key company moments while tracking communications KPIs.

Requirements

• 12+ years of corporate B2B SaaS communications experience in a fast-paced technology, cybersecurity company, or agency.
• 5+ years of communications experience serving developers, application security professionals, or CISOs.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, AI, or deep-tech sectors, with an understanding of the threat landscape and security buyer mindset.
• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to press, analysts, customers, and investors.
• Established relationships with technology and business journalists, plus experience in executive communications and sensitive reputational situations.
• Advanced daily use of generative AI for creating, editing, and optimizing communications while maintaining editorial quality.

Nice to have

• Relationships with security-focused media, Gartner or Forrester analysts, and relevant conference organizers.
• Experience communicating venture funding rounds, acquisitions, or other high-stakes corporate milestones.
• Familiarity with AI-powered communications tools, bug bounty programs, penetration testing, and embedding security into developer workflows.
