Salary: $133,500–$274,100 base salary

What you will do

• Review and evaluate clinical documentation for disability claims and underwriting applications across US product lines.
• Provide clear medical direction, expert opinions, and reasoned forensic analysis to business partners.
• Assess diagnoses, treatment plans, duration guidelines, prognosis, and functional capacity using medical and related data.
• Contact insureds’ healthcare providers to gather information and clarify claimants’ functional abilities.
• Collaborate with medical consultants, healthcare providers, and specialized resources, including making second-opinion referrals when appropriate.
• Manage high volumes of assigned work while maintaining timely turnaround and supporting team-level workloads.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted US medical license required.
• Professional degree: MD, DO, PhD, or PsyD.
• Board certification required for physicians in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Family Practice.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty.
• Strong collaboration, communication, mentoring, and feedback skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based corporate environment and maintain professional licenses and certifications.
